For the 3rd consecutive year the Great Lakes BBQ Association sponsored the annual SENIOR Q event. This year we moved to the west side of the state and served over 200 meals to the residents of Porter Hills Retirement Community of Grand Rapids
This was by far the largest Senior Q event we have participated in, so far. A terrific BBQ lunch of pulled pork, baked beans, potato salad and a cornbread muffin was served up with some terrific fellowship and lot’s of smiles.
I would like to thank Rich Parker, GLBBQA member, along with Mark, Bob, Melissa, Troy, Sherry, Mike, and Tracy from our association, who cooked the meat and helped serve the meals. You guys did a terrific job.
From the pictures it looks like everyone had their fill and enjoyed some great BBQ on SENIOR Q day in Michigan.
